worth the fight, the effort,

our continuing struggle

between our flesh, the spirit,

taking up the Book, our cross,

fulfilling our divine purpose

our part in God's plan.

worth the fight, the effort,

putting in our time, the work

seeking to change, to serve,

not in fear but in victory

not overwhelmed by the storms

the continuing lies of this world.
