Seeing the star of David,
the words in Hebrew,
hanging around her neck,
asking about this weekend,
the terror in the Promised Land.
palpable, so telling,
the word horrific,
bleeding from her lips,
knowing there is more to come.
all children of the same Father,
the one Creator, different sheep,
sharing the same story, the law,
all thinking about this terror.
