Nature does not hurry

We run around, frenetic,
manic in our actions,
thinking the world revolved,
around our human bodies…
 
Nature does not hurry,
each day, each season,
life is present moving,
at a measured pace…
 
We are mortal, surely,
our deaths are preordained,
but we can have joy in each moment,
if we would cherish each day…
 
Nature does not hurry,
yet everything is accomplished,
cycles set in motion,
complete equilibrium…
