Forever 21 – v2

Lives frozen in brutal death,
all of them taken far too young,
far too quickly from us, the world,
brave defenders, these heroes,
of Ukraine, of destiny…
 
They have given everything,
sacrificing their lives for us,
we must remember, honor,
their sacrifice, their humanity,
to speak life into their legacy,
that their loss is not in vain…
 
They are present with us still today,
the honored dead of Ukraina,
though buried in her rich black soil,
may they be honored in glory,
may peace be their eternal reward…
