Christ ablaze in glory, shimmering,
His whole body was glowing white
the God of Mount Sinai,
Alive, in the flesh, with us,
Christ’s identity revealed,
With Moses and Elijah,
the Law and the Prophets,
before them on the mountain…
Son of God, Son of Man
God’s victory had come alive…
 
In a moment of heavenly power
the clarity of this revelation,
more than any other humans,
they saw Christ’s true nature…
Words spoken from the Most High
Christ’s body radiant, shimmering,
Glowing, perfect white…
Son of God, Son of Man,
Ablaze on the mountain
Beloved of the Father, oh God…
