From great distance we have spoken

Our love has been kindled,
In words our love has risen,
Across language and miles...
 
My love for you was instant
The connection so intense
Called by the spirit
In my soul, in my heart...
 
I love you for who you are
Your spirit I know so well
I will love you to my dying breath
And in heaven above...
 
I long to hold you, to speak
Words without sounds,
To live beside you, my wife,
Forever, eternally, Amen.
