Our prayer may be the means

for them to be in the Book,

to be in God’s Book of Life,

to be raised up with Christ.

We don’t know the consequence

of the prayers we offer, we lift up;

The ripples through time

in the prayers we have lifted.

Our light may be the hope

that leads them to Jesus;

Our prayer may be the means

for them to be in the Book.

We are written

our names in heaven

in the Book of Life

the sum of our living

the faith in our walk

captured by the hand of God

We are written

in the Book forever

before the beginning

of time, of the world;

God knew us, every decision,

long before we were born.

for them to be in the Book – v2

we do not understand the words

of the truths within scripture

we say we are followers of Christ

but do we believe really

we hear in the words that there is

predestination, that we are already written

that our names are already written in heaven

that our names are in the Book of Life

we could give up, we could abandon

the belief alone that the path

that our days are already numbered

that all is to fate, to the plan of God

but we must be active, ready

that our lamps must be lit, enough oil

we must continuing praying

because of this fact

our prayer may be the means

for others to be in the Book

to be in God’s Book of Life

to be raised up with Christ

we don’t know the consequence

the ripples through time

in the prayers we have lifted
