we hurt God, the Church,
when we sin against our bodies,
we bring harm to the Body,
to all that has meaning,
to our calling, our purpose,
our own sense of being,
when we give into temptation,
when we sin against our bodies…
we create estrangement,
separation, division, a great loss,
giving into the world, the flesh,
the way of the devil, of satan,
the carnal part of our being,
pulling ourselves away from
our purpose, our calling,
from the Body, from God…
we hurt God, the Body,
when we sin against our bodies,
we hurt our loved ones,
we lose our focus, connection,
to our calling, our purpose,
our own sense of self-worth,
when we give into temptation,
when we sin against our bodies…
