a light shining upon me
shining through me
falling upon the earth
the marks left by me
my footprints, my path
my legacy behind me
may the shadow that I cast
may the face that I see
when I look in the mirror
be an image of the cross
of the man who hung there
of the risen Christ
may I reflect Him
my Savior, my life
my legacy worthy
the One who redeemed me
who restored me to Him
who reconciled me to God
in the days of my life
may I shine His light
may my walk be a guide
for those who are behind me.
