our scars and brokenness – v2

Our scars and brokenness
are not a barrier, an impediment;
they don’t change God’s love
which is alive, eternal

God doesn’t love us less
because we love Jesus;
We cleave to Christ
our Risen Lord

call on our Lord, our Savior
our loving Master
draw on God
the inner strength of the Spirit
take to Him
all of your worries
leaven them with God
at the foot of the cross

we are not of this planet
we only sojourn here
only for a time
we rise to heaven
on wings, we fly
we wander here for a time
a season on this earth
we rise, we fly

we have scars, hurts
we fall short of God
but God gives us grace
like Abraham
we need healing

God gives us grace
