I had assumed the worst,
that it was too late for me,
but God gave me the best;
the answers to my prayers
peace, new rest
I assumed the worst
that the cost was mine to
bear,
but God gave me grace
peace beyond understanding
The benefit covering
more than I imagined
the weight lifted from me;
God’s gift of grace
peace, new rest
