Are the words of the devil

Are the words of the devil
or are they of God
do they draw me closer
or further from the Lord
Are they uplifting
leading me on my path
or are they sending me meanderings
on the wilderness course
Something needing to change
blazing a new way
seeking your ever
more and more each day
Letting go of one course
returning some day
maybe in a different life
your cross shining
conforming my way
closer to you
clay in your hands
more of my gifts used then
in the world of man
