Giving, at ease,
softening my exterior
giving my life over
as to the touch of the
Potter
From the earth, the ground
made of the stuff of this
world
made holy, worthy only
by the workings of his hands
Transforming me from the
inside
chiseling me from without
making me a worthy vessel
only by the workings of His
hands
As to the touch of the Potter
the Artist working with my
stone
rough-hewn and uneven
until He makes me His own
