God loves Those People too – v3

We think we are special, somehow better,
we are like the believers with Peter
those in the crowd, aghast,
astonished at God, that the Spirit came to them
that our pedigree is somehow richer
that we are more deserving,
yet they learned a lesson
that we have yet to learn.

God loves Those People too
those whom we deem lesser
different from ourselves, outcasts,
not worthy of God’s love.
God loves Those People,
to God they are just as deserving;
none of us are special, all of us are fallen
all people needing God’s grace.
