Reject convention

Open in our worship

reject convention, strictures,

Pour out your oil, your lives;

Give to God freely

your authentic self,

your life, your witness.

 

Stand in the gap, the gate,

with the risen Christ, Jesus,

infused with the Spirit;

Offer love, compassion,

to the outsider, the stranger,

the other in your midst.
