Smooth Stones of the Wadi – 2 – v2

Catching the light of the morning
sitting on the windowsill
a present reminder of God’s provision
God’s protection in the storms,
when we face our giants.
 
Kept as a talisman, a memory,
smooth stones of the wadi
placed before me, shining,
reminding me to trust in God,
to have the faith of David.
