growing up in New England
whatever their standing, the season,
cheering for our Red Sox
A friend to everyman
because he was one himself
living out our childhood dreams
playing for our Red Sox.

He shared every dream we have
for our beloved Red Sox.
A color man like no other
pure, unadulterated, authentic
cheering on each hit, each out,
rooting for our Red Sox.
