A face in the tree,
the trunk to be more
accurate...
"Harrumph, I take
umbrage,
at your bit of
whimsy."
A face in the tree,
puffed up, pouting,
a character from Dickens,
on a London street.
A face in the tree,
aging as we ponder
the great questions of
life,
life's little
peccadillos,
Imbroglios, frozen in
time.
