In a world of
Sadducees, of Pharisees,
be a Samaritan, a
heart open,
not like the Levites,
the priest,
crossing to the
other side of the street
leaving the
beaten, the broken,
lying half-dead,
forgotten
turning a blind
eye to suffering.
