The Word is Spirit, life,
metaphor,
less history, more mystery,
guiding us within, calling,
speaking to our spirit,
leading us if we will follow,
Onto the way, into the truth...
The Word is light, living
water,
shining upon us, filling our souls,
quenching our thirst, our longing,
a living connection with God,
with our brother, the Spirit
We are entwined in the vine…
The Word is Spirit,
teaching, shining,
light into the darkness of this world,
offering love, grace, hope
to all who seek, who strive ,
after righteousness, to purpose,
To meaning in our lives...
