How could you be so stupid, careless, reckless,
Leaving a gun out in the open, ready,
Loaded, pointing at me,
Daring them to pull the trigger.
But the carnage is widespread,
Others caught in the crossfire,
Loved ones hurt, bleeding,
Crying out in the street…
