Conscious of His divinity – v2

Christ was God, divine,
at Creation, in the womb of Mary,
conscious of His divinity, His authority,
before the quickening of His flesh,
God alive in Creation, entering time,
what must Christ have felt, awareness,
growing within Mary’s womb…
 
Christ was fully alive in her body,
the eternal made mortal, growing as we do,
but aware of His divinity, fully God, fully man,
indwelling within her vessel, the seed of eternity,
our Messiah, the hope of all mankind, of life, life itself,
before the manger, before John leapt within Elizabeth,
Christ was conscious of His divinity before all else…
