the Lord stood be Paul
in the hours of the night
offering him aid and comfort
a new calling on his life.

the Lord stood by Paul
in prison, in his disquiet,
commissioning him again
a new chapter of his life.

the Lord stood by Paul
his witness, his zealot
sharing the word
the hope within him.

rely on #God only
have #faith in His counsel
seek to follow the #path
God's #plan for your life.
do not trust your own #way
the path of the world
turn first to the #Lord
rely only on God.
