this historian, this freed hostage…
May his words be a beacon, a prophecy,
alive here in this moment, this now…
 
A lost war of aggression, collapse,
of this nation, his regime,
toppling of this madman, this evil…
May these words be revealed quickly…
May his prophecy spring to life…
 
So quickly could it happen,
without warning, in a few days…
The light of freedom shining brightly,
over Europe, many time zones…

Each human life is important – v4 #poetry #Ukraine #God #prayer

As we live in this life, in this moment,
in the crucible of the present, this now,
As we look at this war, this terror, this evil,
We contemplate the choices, our actions,
where we stand, what lines we are willing to cross…
We must hold fast to humanity, to our compassion,
for each human life is important, to be cherished…
We are all on the same planet, we are all God’s children…
We breathe the same air; we share the same dreams…
 
Our vision must be clear, our stance, our posture, resolute…
We must not become desensitized, numb to the terror,
to the evil that is before us, to the crimes against children,
against the innocent, against communities, against these people…
We must not let this become normal; we must reclaim
our compassion, our feeling, our humanity, together, united…
We must stand against the aggressor, against their evil, resolute…
We must say no to hate, to descend into the pit with them…
We must live our lives in love, we must hope and not fear…

He is an Anti-Christ, a Satan,
a spawn of the Devil,
an embodiment of Evil…
He has no humanity within him,
He is a soulless creation, empty clay,
pulled from the Guf…
 
His quest for power, eternal,
this Anti-Christ, this Satan,
this false King of the North,
a mark of the Devil upon him…
History will judge him harshly…
Eternal terror will be his destiny…

Each human life is important – v3

As we live in this life, in this moment,

the soul of a monster – v2

This false Tsar, his minions,
those with him in the Kremlin,
proving their utter inhumanity,
their lust for raw power, terror,
destroying everything they can…
 
They do not care about Ukraine,
about Ukrainians, this noble people,
they do not care about Russians,
their own people either, truly,
they are merely slaves, serfs to them…
 
They only want empire, expanding,
to the steppes of Europe, conquest,
an expanding vision only, surreal,
human life unimportant, truly,
the soul of a monster, awful, repugnant,
their sons sent into the meat grinder…
 
Dead souls given over, counted,
the price for his ego, his hellish passions,
given to terror, a quest for raw power,
their neighbors do not matter
nor their best sons, in truth…
 
They deny the horror,
the carnage, the genocide,
but the truth stands before them,
all they seek is expansion, conquest,
they would never stop at Ukraine…

History will curse him – v2

History will curse him,
his name will be an epithet,
humanity will be better,
when he leaves this mortal coil…
 
History will curse him,
for the evil he has committed,
against a nation-state, others,
and against his own people…
 
History will curse him,
for his terror, his genocide,
the stain will be upon him,
of those he has killed…
 
History will curse him,
this false Tsar, the Satan,
trapped for eternity,
between heaven and hell…

His fall will be epic – v2

Any monuments he created will be toppled,
his image will be torn down, ripped up, destroyed,
his fall will be epic, terrible, swift, unexpected,
when the buzzards come to roost…
 
The madman in the bunker, the tyrant,
this false tsar, the illegitimate dictator,
a traitor to his own people,
to life, to all humanity…
 
His fall will be epic, in an instant,
an open window, a coup d état,
his life will be obliterated, nothing,
when Karma comes to call…
