The dance of the bark – v3

Skin-tight dresses
go-go dancers,
revealing supple bodies,
movement, dancing,
swaying to the music…
 
Moving faster, harder,
shaking, shaking, spinning,
riding the tide of the music,
higher, higher, crescendo,
freeze, hold the pose…
 
Dance in the bark,
many dancers,
twisting, turning,
captured, frozen,
unmistakable lines…

With Hands Raised – v2

With their hands raised

like sacred dancers,

moving to silent music

the dance of the breath of God

invisible breezes

petals of the coneflowers

each like the arms of the dancers

swaying in unison

in time to the rhythm

a dance of creation

in the bright morning sun

waiting to open
