they will hear my voice

the chaos of life

lost in this wilderness

needing God’s voice to guide them

back into God’s protection

the Prodigal Son

the wayward sheep

all of us on the journey

each of us stray

go our own way

ignoring the call of the Shepherd

sometime later

sooner, we pray,

listing more intently

turning to the call of the Shepherd

going right to Him

back into God’s protection

giving our will to the Potter

the Maker of our lives.

Christ remains faithful

no matter how far we stray

how we are unfaithful

Christ remains faithful

because Faithfulness is His name

God’s love richer

unmerited, unconditional

Christ loves us completely
