informed by Christ Jesus
the infinite God, incarnate,
who took on human flesh;
a radical revolution of values
love embodied in the Christ-child
lifting us from this desert
guiding us from a broken path.
a radical revolution of values
seeing the other, the stranger,
as a neighbor, a loved one,
one beloved of God;
a radical revolution of values
seeking justice, wholeness,
for each one, each child,
born of mortal flesh.
