informed by Christ Jesus
the infinite God, incarnate,
who took on human flesh
and came down to earth.
a radical revolution of values
in the love embodied in the Christ-child
grace to restore, to heal us,
lifting us from this desert
guiding us from our broken path.
a radical revolution of values
turning from the world
seeing the other, the stranger,
as a neighbor, a loved one,
one beloved of God.
a radical revolution of values
love for one another
seeking justice, wholeness,
for each one, each child,
born of mortal flesh.
