You are the Messiah

You are the Holy One of God

the One foretold in the Law, the Prophets,

the One who came down.

 

Christ is God incarnate,

Christ is God eternal,

Logos, the Word Made Flesh;

Christ came into the world

to give us light, new life.

 

You are the Messiah,

You are our Lord and our Savior

the Son of the Living God

the One who came to save us.

 

All that came before

the Law, the Prophets,

the Word, God, come to life;

Jesus of Nazareth, Joseph's son

the Light of the world.
