How can they co-exist,
with the rhetoric toxic,
language of genocide
boiling on both sides?
 
Amalek and his progeny,
children becoming martyrs,
a population excited
by the terror unleashed.
 
Awful choices only
genocide or capitulation,
war endless, unending,
blood in the streets…
