our call to love trials – v2

The scripture counterintuitive
almost making no sense,
opaque to us, to reason,
the ways of the world,
our call to love trials,
times of struggle in this life.
 
We are called to vision,
to trust to have faith in God,
seeing the end results
the becoming of the beauty within
finding hope in the refining
shaping us on the Potter’s wheel.
 
We respond, through faith,
In abundance, our choices,
nothing but joy, appreciation,
thanking God for our trials,
the fire, the times of testing,
our struggles in this life.
