Love as Jesus loves

Listen to the power of the word,
of the calling, the command of Christ,
do not be timid, thinking of yourself,
of your way, your walk in this life.
 
Love sacrificially, completely,
Love as Christ loves us;
Love in the way of Christ
Love even yourself.
 
Love as Jesus love, (not in the past tense),
embrace this minute, this moment,
to share Jesus’ love, with others,
as you walk in this life.
 
Love as Christ loves us,
as Christ loves us yet;
Love your neighbors, everyone,
more than you love yourself.
