pray continually – v2

From our first thought, awakening,
our first breath of the morning,
pray continually, in every season,
in every moment, rejoice always,
in conversation, in communion,
in an ongoing relationship,
with the Sovereign Creator,
with the eternal God.
 
Pray continually, pray without ceasing,
everything we are, our whole being,
bringing our concerns, our celebrations,
bringing our whole life to God, seeking,
God’s guidance, God’s protection,
seeking to serve God with our whole life,
with every moment, every breath,
until we rest our head and sleep…
