Jesus told us to love - v2

Jesus told us to love,
by His own example,
to love one another,
not as we would love,
but how He first loved us…
 
Jesus told us to love,
to love our sisters, our brothers,
to love the stranger, the other,
to minister to them, to heal,
to care for their needs…
 
Jesus told us to love,
for that is the measure,
how our righteous God will judge us,
at the end of this age, our death,
at a time of His choosing…
