Praise is fleeting – v2

Praise is fleeting,
It can be taken away,
Trusting in man, in mortals,
More than our God…
 
Wanting to be seen,
To be credited, valued,
Trusting vessels of clay,
More than the Almighty…
 
Praise is a drug,
Recognition, purpose,
Rewards on the earth,
Losing our valley to heaven…
