Holding onto those struggling

reaching for our friends, our neighbors,
holding onto those who struggle,
knowing God has walked with us,
on our pain, on this road…
 
sharing moments with them,
holding onto those who struggle,
being a friend, a neighbor,
to those bleeding in the street…
 
offering aid and comfort,
holding onto those who struggle,
arms to hold them in their pain,
to be Christ’s hands and feet…
