the weight of that burden – v2

I know only in part
the weight of His burden
what Christ carried to the cross
to set me free…
 
I don’t remember
all the sin I have committed
He alone knows, can know,
my sin in the future…
 
I fear the awful knowledge
a revelation of that burden
what Christ carried to the cross
to set me free…
 
I dread fully knowing
the pain that He suffered
what Christ endured on the cross
for all the sin in my life…
 
I need to know fully,
for me to be freed completely
every sin I have committed
that was nailed to the cross…
