ahead is glory – v2

ahead is glory
the end of our path
fated for struggle
no rest for the weary
but fortune was a lie
a canard, a deceit,
so poor was my guide…
 
ahead is glory
freed from struggle
a hope in that future
a way to heaven
redemption, freedom
a nightmare undone,
raised from my trials,
up to the heights…
