Submitting to God’s Wrath

Christ’s mission, His purpose,
His eternal calling, a servant,
our propitiation, our sacrifice,
the weight of all our sin,
place upon the unblemished lamb…
 
Christ is our payment,
our atoning sacrifice,
submitting to God’s wrath,
talking all our iniquity,
our blood on His head…
 
Christ’s choice to descend,
to climb our cross,
fulfilling His purpose,
His calling, His mission,
to die and rise for us…
