A nation of dead serfs

Dead Souls, bereft of identity,
longing for nothing, empty,
captive within a culture
arrogant, believing the lie
they are extraordinary
that they are better
they they can subjugate, can take,
whatever they lust after
Stalking this earth…
 
A nation of dead serfs, of slaves,
beholden to the poison
to the cancer indwelling.
the virus eating their souls
morally and spiritually bankrupt
false figures on a ledger
property of a nation-state
a legacy of terror, torment,
Stalking this earth…
