The Sadness of Her Statement

Honesty, love
over the secret of her faith
the illusion required
to wear the mantle of the stole
to harvest lost souls
Yet freedom in her words
through the sadness of her statement
able to breathe free
in being truly open
true to herself
and the belief in her calling
