To the Whole World

The commission he spoke of
to be completed in the coming
of the Spirit with power
to share with the whole world

Or task as his witnesses
to his love in our life
redeeming us from death
bringing us into his light

To the whole world
in ripples, concentric circles
continuing the world of the disciples
starting from Jerusalem
out to the ends of the earth
