To All People

We are to be his witnesses
in concentric circles
sending ripples of his love
out from the holy city
to the ends of the earth

Each one commissioned
by the promise of the Spirit
washing over us
filling us with love

To all people
to all the people on earth
bearing God’s love with us
poured out from above
