Praying for a different outcome – v2

A living fervent prayer,
in this now, in this moment,
for wisdom, for discernment,
praying for a different outcome
than what came to pass,
fear gripping my spirit,
resistance is a weak option,
not knowing, not seeing,
what was part of God’s plan,
a different pathway forward,
for where we stand now, today…
 
My vision short, so weak,
living in my stovepipe, media,
hearing the same message,
the terror so real, so close,
wanting something else,
a hope, a future, a dream,
but facing what is, before me,
seeing more clearly, honestly
pragmatic, certainly, the truth,
praying for a different outcome
but here is reality, right here, right now…
