grace fell upon him, bodily,

in his pain, his suffering then,
despair was wicked, taken away,
in the Silence before the train…

in the Silence before the train,
a gift of grace imparted, gifted,
God’s peace washed o’er him,
calming his troubled spirit…

gifted time to slow, to sojourn,
to walk quietly with God, to remember,
what he needed in that moment,
in the Silence before the train…

in the silence before the train,
sensing God's presence with him,
lifting away his burdens,
calming his troubled spirit...
