People have been marching, resolute, defiant,
protesting against the regime for months,
their false mandate a lie, a threat,
over 211 days standing together,
a people leaning toward Europe,
away from their cruel masters in Moscow,
wanting to breathe the air of freedom,
to strive into their future, not a false dream…
Puppets without an original thought complicit,
pulling from the old Soviet Playbook, Stalin,
recognizing the truth, the existential threat
from their own people, the masses marching,
fresh air of freedom rising, unstoppable,
not wanting people to become infected
to rise further against them, to triumph,
to relegate them to the ash heap of history…
Their time is already waning, inexorably, defeated,
but opportunities for terror, for bloodshed, remain,
The people striving forward, marching daily,
gathering in the streets of the capital
defiant against the false leaders,
demanding their westward leaning,
Rejecting the masters in the Kremlin,
wanting to shake off their awful yoke…

leaders beaten in the streets, arrested,
imprisoned, silenced, taken, hidden,
no doubt tortured for their power,
The rising of the masses against Russia,
their puppets in Tbilisi, in the parliament,
dragging the country into the orbit, influence,
under the thumb of the madmen in the bunker…

3. Zurab Japaridze – arrested, sentenced
4. Nika Melia – arrested, sentencing pending
5. Nika Gvaramia – arrested, sentencing pending
6. Giorgi Vashadze – arrested, sentenced
7. Giorgi Gakharia – believed to have fled to Germany
8. Helen Khoshtaria – recently arrested and mistreated in custody; mother of 4 (3 minors); today, prosecutors demanded pretrial detention, but the judge imposed a fine instead
9. Tina Bokuchava – still free; her husband was recently kidnapped and threatened for 9 hours; she’s also a mother of three minors”
