ahead is glory, our reward,
the end of our path
fated for struggle
no rest for the weary
but fortune was a lie
a canard, a deceit,
so poor was my guide…
 
ahead is glory, our reward,
freed from struggle
a hope in that future
a way to heaven, glory,
redemption, freedom
a nightmare undone,
raised from my trials,
up to the heights…
 
ahead is glory, our reward,
This long night is over
The pain, the struggle
is at an end, we are
released from our fetters
chains that have bound us,
in other lands we wandered,
for far too long…
