Break in twain your fetters – v2

free yourself of the oppressors,
your false, harsh, masters,
“Break in twain your fetters”,
breathe the clean air of freedom…
 
cast off their chains,
of power, of oppression,
independent of your masters
who held you in slavery…
 
stand as free men and women,
no longer slaves of these masters,
shake off the yoke of oppression,
stand in the light…
 
bear witness boldly,
of your freedom, your independence,
walking freely into the future,
your homeland, your Ukraina…
