peace in his spirit – v2

though he struggled in his body,
there was a peace in his spirit,
knowing another would continue,
would take up his banner, his cause…
 
a mild and tender prophet,
was gifted an answer to his prayers,
that the one truth would not perish,
will not vanish from this earth…
 
another heart was ready, gifted,
to carry forth the promise, his life,
to keep alive the memory, the hope,
for his dearest Ukraina…
 
a holy star he had wished for,
his prayer he poured out upon her,
a blessing in the mighty call,
continuing his life’s work…
 
opening his heart up,
peace at his ending, in his spirit,
knowing another will support the cause,
of his love, his blessed Ukraina…
