treasure here

we value the flesh, we are human,
gathering up praise, our treasure,
from man, fearing rejection,
false idols of pride, of control,
selfish instincts replacing the Father,
treasure here, not in heaven above…
 
slay these idols, these false gods,
turn from the flesh, the world,
praise, treasure here on earth
seek holiness, your purpose
in the true God who created
find wholeness in the love of God…
